Bride for LIFE
Long time, no blog. I've just been a wee bit preoccupied becoming an official wifey and living the goodlife on part 1 and 2 of our 3 part honeymoon.
And let me just say...
Honeymoons #1 and #2 were UNBELIEVABLE. We spent the first half of our honeymoon in Bal Harbour, and the second half in Argentina! Later this year we will take a cruise and WE.CAN'T.WAIT.
Also, being the Bride is like the best thing ever. Seriously. I want to be the Bride forever and ever and plan to be stuck on this Newlywed Cloud for a solid amount of time.
We learned a few things on this trip...
1. Miami/South Beach/ Bal Harbour - is AMAZING. The water is UNREAL and the St. Regis is out of this freaking world. If you are looking to go to a beach a little further than maybe your average beach, go there!
2. Being able to actually SEE a shark swimming in crystal clear water has solidified that I will never go back into murky Myrtle Beach oceans again. If they are plain-as-day swimming up to people when I can see them, surely they're there when I can't see them! Buzz kill? Ok sorry..
3. Traveling internationally is not for the weak of heart and kudos to everyone who does this on the reg. Tight quarters on plane rides, foreign languages, and long airport lines and LOTS of security checkpoints will ware a sucker out. Paris - I'll see you when I regain my strength! Also, if you go to Buenos Aires - eat the pizza. And don't drive. Or look out the window when your cab driver is driving you... trust me.
We danced. We laughed. We slept. We beached. We experienced Opera, and Tango, art and great food. We have a bucket load of memories. I'm a happy newlywed, y'all.
Now, let me just pretend I'm still sitting here....
